DIY Picture Frame Wall

DIY Picture Frame Wall

This was a little cumbersome to do, but I love how it turned out.

We had a huge (and very bare) wall in our living room that I didn’t know what to do with.   I knew I wanted to frame a picture or two, but then couldn’t decide on which pictures.  Thus, a wall of pictures was born.

I also wanted to add some elements beyond photo frames.  The horseshoe reminds me of my old Kentucky home and is a wedding souvenir from my friend Lauren’s wedding.

We also added Max’s footprints on a small canvas I bought at Michaels for about 30 cents!

My favorite is the Willow Tree girls in the corner.  On the back it says, “Forver True; Forever Friends.”  This was a gift from my sorority sister and old roomate, Ellie.  It reminds me of sitting on the bed in the apartments talking and listening to eachother’s days.

I also included Max’s birth announcement and mine and David’s wedding invitations.  Some of the frames still need filling, obviously.

Most of the frames I purchased at Michael’s during their big sale events, some I already owned, and a few were purchased from Goodwill (love finding good things there!)
