Oh, no…that sounds awful! We are also weaning. Cohen drinks the whole milk very slowly (which drives me crazy), but he is drinking it and so far hasn’t had any problems. We are only down one feeding though and he only drinks about 2 oz. of whole milk in the afternoon/evening. I hope the above never happens to him. So sorry you all went through that:( Good luck on finding something that works:)

Ollie didn’t handle milk well either. Spitting up constantly and lets just say it wasn’t pretty coming out of the other end either. We switched to soy (and although more expensive) he’s doing really well. . BTW we are the only living creatures that drink milk past weaning. So I make sure he gets a vitamin and if he drinks it, great. If not, no worries .

You’ve probably already found other ideas, seeing as this post is from a few months ago, but try ‘Blender Baby Food’. I borrowed it from my library at first, and then bought it used on Amazon. I found the recipes to be tasty, easy and something I would eat myself. I blogged about it awhile back (http://sewlikesisters.wordpress.com/2011/08/05/homemade-baby-food-is-cheap-easy/) if you want to read more about it.
