Imagination Library Free Books!

We received our 2nd book, “Where’s Spot?” in the mail from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

I love that the books they send are free, but also age appropriate!  Max loves this book.  It will be even more fun when he’s older and can appreciate the trip to the mailbox to find a new book in there!

Books are free, mailed once monthly to your home, and any parent, guardian, or grandparent can participate!

Free Children’s Books: Dolly Parton Imagination Library

Here’s a great way to receive Free Children’s books each month, sent directly to your mailbox!

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library has partnered with communities since 1996, to help spread and encourage early childhood reading.  The program is free for all children from birth until age 5.  Books are selected through a committee in the organization, and are age appropriate, focusing on important development themes for each stage in the Preschooler’s life.

In 2010, the Library sent its 25,000,000th book and graduated 216,000 preschoolers from its reading program.

We received our first book in the mail today, “The Little Engine That Could.”  We are looking forward to many more books in our mailbox, thanks to the generosity of our community and the Dolly Parton Foundation.

Registration is easy and available online.  To sign up, visit the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
